Job Description

  • The candidate will be required to operate computerised inventory record keeping and re-ordering systems.
  • The candidate will be expected to estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates.
  • The candidate will be required to provide advice about merchandise.
  • The candidate must conduct sales transactions via Internet-based electronic commerce.
  • The candidate will be required to greet customers and discuss the type, quality, and quantity of merchandise or services desired for purchase, rental, or lease.
  • The candidate will be required to prepare sales, rental, or leasing contracts as well as accept cash, cheque, credit card, or automatic debit payment.
  • The candidate will be required to keep sales records for inventory control.
  • The candidate will be expected to assist in the display of merchandise.
