Job Description

• The candidate must be able to load and unload goods.
• The candidate must operate and drive straight or articulated trucks in order to transport goods and materials.
• The candidate will be responsible for transporting and handling hazardous materials.

Job Requirements

• The candidate should be fluent in English language.
• The candidate should have minimum qualification of Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 2 to 3 years of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate must have a DZ class licence as well as a Commercial Vehicle Operator’s Registration (CVOR) Certificate.
• The candidate must be able to handle weight up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate should be organised and flexible in nature.
• The candidate should be reliable.

Experience and Specialization

Documentation Knowledge

• The candidate should be well-versed in inspection report documentation (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip).

Type of Trucking and Equipment

• The trucking and equipment types are liquid bulk and straight truck (4,600kg+ or 10,000lbs+ with 3+ axles).

Transportation/Travel Experience

• The candidate should be familiar with the local areas.

• The candidate should be subjected to a thorough criminal record check, driving record check (abstract), and drug test.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

• The candidate should have an eye for details.
• The candidate should be required to handle heavy loads as part of routine work.
• The candidate should be prepared to perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
• The candidate should be willing to work for long hours in sitting positions.

• The candidate must have their own steel-toed safety boots.
