Job Description

The candidate must clean the crop.
The candidate will be responsible for cutting horticultural crops.
The candidate will be responsible for greenhouse cleaning.
The candidate must harvest vegetables by hand.
The candidate must harvest seedlings.
The candidate must mix fertilizer.
The candidate must pick row and orchard crops.
The candidate must plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops.
The candidate must manually remove all suckers and water sprouts.
The candidate will be responsible for training trees to produce more fruit of higher quality.
The candidate must clean the work area.
The candidate will be responsible for fertilising and spraying crops.
The candidate must harvest crops.
The candidate must operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.

Job Requirements

The candidate should be fluent in English language.
There are no standard education requirements such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related industry.
The candidate must have a First Aid Certificate, Pesticide Applicator’s Licence, and Forklift Operator Certification.
The candidate must be able to lift weights of up to 9 kg (20 lbs), 13.5 kg (30 lbs) and 23 kg (50 lbs).

Crops include apples, bell peppers, cherries, grapes, orchard fruit, tomatoes, vegetables and vineyard.

Equipment and machinery experience

The candidate must have experience operating farm trucks, forklifts, loaders, tractors, fertilizer applicators, and hand tools.

The candidate must have specialized environmental skills and knowledge.
