Job Description

The candidate will be responsible for storing cargo and materials.
The candidate will be required to load, unload, and move materials and products using a variety of equipment.
The candidate will be required to manually load and unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, cars, and lifting devices.
The candidate will be expected to create labels and attach them to goods.
The candidate will be expected to organise and keep inventory.
The candidate will be required to sort, crate, and stack goods.
The candidate will be responsible for transporting materials to various locations throughout the facility.
The candidate will be expected to optimise loads in order to ensure operational efficiency.
The candidate will be responsible for maintaining up-to-date activity logs and inventory details.
The candidate will be expected to follow company policies and legal procedures.
The candidate will be responsible for keeping the facilities safe and secure.
The candidate will be required to secure loads to the machine prior to transportation.
The candidate will be responsible for inspecting vehicles for damage.
The candidate will be responsible for scheduling vehicles for maintenance and repairs.
The candidate will be responsible for inventory management using RF scanning equipment.
The candidate will be responsible for picking and wrapping orders for shipment.
The candidate will be required to identify workplace safety hazards.
The candidate will be required to analyse production schedules in order to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
The candidate will be responsible for unloading merchandise and materials from incoming vehicles and stacking them in the assigned storage facilities.
The candidate will be responsible for locating and transporting product stock to crates or pallets for shipment or storage.
The candidate will be responsible for identifying and reporting quality deficiencies or shortages to upper management.
The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the goods to be transported are properly arranged in the vehicles.
The candidate must accurately weigh and document materials.
The candidate must provide production data on tags or labels.

The candidate must return the forklift to its proper location.

The candidate must be able to handle weight up to 23 kg (50 lbs).

Work Setting

The candidate will be required to work in Manufacturing industry.

Vehicle and Equipment Experience

The ideal candidate will have prior experience operating industrial lift trucks, forklifts, and radio frequency scanners (RFS)

Own Tools/Equipment

Candidates are required to wear steel-toed safety boots and Hard hat.

Work Site Environment

The candidate should be willing to work in an outdoor environment for long hours.
The candidate will be required to work in wet or damp, dusty and hot or cold environments.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

The candidate should be able to work in fast-paced busy environment.
The candidate should be required to perform repetitive tasks on frequent basis.
