Erhard’s Orthopedics Ltd., located in Kelowna, BC V1Y 9M9. The company is currently looking for applications for the role of Footwear Salesperson – Retail. We are in search of a self-disciplined individual with outstanding interpersonal skills. The selected applicant will be required to join and take their responsibilities at the earliest. The open positions are for Permanent employment or part-time work that leads to a full-time job. The candidate must work on the day shift.

Job Description

• The candidate must accept cash, cheque, credit card, or automatic debit payments.
• The candidate must be able to operate a cash register.
• The candidate must supervise staff (apprentices, stagehands, design team, etc.).
• The candidate must be able to use computerized inventory record-keeping and re-ordering systems.
• The candidate must provide advice about merchandise.
• The candidate will be responsible for advertising and/or promoting products, sales, and services.
• The candidate must perform data entry tasks.
• The candidate must provide excellent customer service.
• The candidate must assist in the display of merchandise.
• The candidate must greet customers and discuss the type, quality, and quantity of merchandise or services desired for purchase, rental, or lease.
• The candidate must maintain sales records for inventory control.
• The candidate must prepare merchandise for purchase, rental, or lease.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation or equivalent experience.

Work setting

• The candidate must be able to work in both a specialty shop and a shoe store.
• The candidate should have an on-site customer service system where employees work in an office or business location.
• The candidate should work in a retail business, purchase goods from a manufacturer or a wholesaler and sell these goods to consumers in small quantities.
