Food Service Supervisor

A&W based in Deer Lake, NL, is looking for candidates for the position of Food Service Supervisor with 2 vacancies. The ones chosen to be employed will be required to start work as soon as possible. Job description

  • The candidate will be required to supervise staff who prepare and portion food.
  • The candidate will be required to co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
  • The candidate will be required to supervise assembly of trays.
  • The candidate will be required to check assembly of trays.
  • The candidate will be required to prepare and submit reports.
  • The candidate will be required to maintain records of stock and repairs.
  • The candidate will be required to maintain records of sales and wastage.
  • The candidate will be required to establish work schedules.
  • The candidate will be required to estimate and order ingredients and supplies.
  • The candidate will be required to ensure food service.
  • The candidate will be required to ensure quality control.
  • The candidate will be required to address customers’ complaints or concerns.
  • The candidate will be required to train staff in job duties.
  • The candidate will be required to train workers in sanitation and safety procedures.
  • The candidate will be required to prepare budget and cost estimates.
  • The candidate will be required to establish methods to meet work schedules.
  • The candidate must have knowledge of the establishment’s culinary genres.
  • The candidate will be required to have the ability to supervise around one to two people.
  • The candidate will be required to work in a Restaurant or a Food service establishment.

Requirements

  • The candidate should have a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate to apply for this job.
  • The candidate should have equivalent experience in the concerned field.
  • The candidate should also have an experience of at least 1 year to less than 2 years.
  • The candidate should also be dependable.
