Job Description

  • The candidate will be responsible for restocking condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas.
  • The candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness standards by keeping the counters, tableware, and utensils clean.
  • The candidate will be required to load buspans and trays.
  • The candidate must clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
  • The candidate will be responsible for carrying and replacing linen.
  • The candidate must ensure that the food is served in the proper portion, arrangement, and garnish.
  • The candidate will be required to bring clean dishes, flatware and other items to serving areas and set tables.

  • The candidate will be required to serve customers at counters or buffet tables.
  • The candidate will be in charge of wrapping and portioning foods.
  • The candidate will be in charge of packaging take-out food.
  • The candidate would be responsible for keeping records of the quantities of food used.
  • The candidate will be required to take customers’ orders.

  • The candidate will be responsible for receiving, unpacking and storing supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas.
  • The candidate will be responsible for sweeping, mopping, washing and polishing floors.
  • The candidate will be required to sharpen kitchen knives.
  • The candidate will be responsible for preparing dining areas and kitchen for next shift by cleaning and restocking dining areas and cook stations.
  • The candidate will be required to make sure that the kitchen equipment are well cleaned after use.
  • The candidate will be required to pick up and return empty carts and utensils to the kitchen.
  • The candidate will be responsible for following all food safety and hygiene standards.
  • The candidate will be in charge of ensuring that the kitchen is kept clean.

Equipment and Machinery Experience

  • The candidate should have prior experience with a grill, a deep fryer and a conventional oven.
  • The candidate must have prior experience operating an electronic cash register.
