Job Description
- The candidate must prepare nets, lines, and other fishing tackle.
- The candidate will be responsible for cleaning, sorting, and packing fish on ice, as well as storing catch in the hold.
- The candidate must repair nets, splice ropes, and maintain fishing gear and other deck equipment.
- The candidate will be responsible for cleaning the deck surfaces and the fish hold.
- The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that health and safety procedures are followed.
- The candidate will be responsible for handling mooring lines, as well as splicing and repairing ropes, wire cables, and cordage.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in English language.
- There are no standard education requirements such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
- Training will be provided to the selected candidate.
- The candidate must be able to lift weights of up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and 45 kg (100 lbs).
