Job Description

The candidate must clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens, and other work areas.
The candidate must consider water saturation, light, and temperature when planning for crop growth and development.
The candidate will be responsible for cutting crops.
The candidate must develop specific plans to prioritize tasks.
The candidate must direct agricultural crop deleafing activities.
The candidate must implement soil fertility programs.
The candidate must oversee the activities involved in clearing the fields.
The candidate will be responsible for training trees to produce more fruit of higher quality.
The candidate must perform the weeding task.
The candidate must provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying, and harvesting.
The candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers.
The candidate must ensure compliance with farm safety and biosecurity procedures.
The candidate will be responsible for maintaining quality control and production records.
The candidate will be responsible for supervising and overseeing growing and other crop-related operations.
The candidate must perform general farm duties.

Job Requirements

The candidate should be fluent in the English language.
The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation or equivalent experience.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 to 5 years of experience in a related industry.
Spanish is considered an asset language.

The candidate must have experience in operating a fertilizer applicator, harvesters, a sprayer or duster, a tractor, a vegetable or fruit harvester, and a forklift.
