Quantum information has a considerably deeper structure than conventional information, and it comes with new computational capabilities that are unheard of. Job Description

  • The candidate will be expected to design and conduct experimental and theoretical physics research.
  • The candidate will be expected to conduct research data analysis and write research reports.
  • The candidate will be expected to work as part of a research or development team to design and develop experimental, industrial, or medical equipment, instrumentation, and procedures.
  • The candidate will be required to conduct research on forces, structures and phenomena that affect the natural world.
  • The candidate will be required to focus research efforts in an appointed specialized field within the realms of physics
  • The candidate will be required to plan and take control over the path of research and experiments to collate and gather relevant data
  • The candidate will be required to create a hypothesis for each research based on methodology and expectations
  • The candidate would be expected to assess experiment results and conduct quality assurance testing.
  • The candidate will be expected to write reports and provide presentations based on their results.
  • The candidate would be expected to help and contribute to technical research papers.
  • The candidate would be expected to advise authorities on radiation incident or hazard protocols and aid in civil defence preparedness.
  • The candidate will be required to conduct research pertaining to potential environmental impacts of atomic energy-related industrial development in order to determine licensing qualifications.
  • The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the testing and monitoring of radioactive equipment contamination, as well as the recording of people and plant area radiation exposure data.
  • The candidate will be expected to support activities such as radiation therapy, diagnostic imaging, and seismology.
  • The candidate will be expected to develop laser, maser, infrared, and other light-emitting and light-sensitive device production, assembly, and fabrication procedures.
  • The candidate will be required to conduct application evaluations and analyze results in order to determine commercial, industrial, scientific, medical, military, or other uses for electro-optical devices.
  • The candidate will be expected to lecture and teach students about physics laws in accordance with the curriculum.
