Job Description

  • The candidate must apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints.
  • The candidate will be responsible for cutting and installing metal corner beads to protect the exterior corners.
  • The candidate will be responsible for fabricating and installing suspended metal ceiling grids, as well as placing panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings.
  • The candidate must use trowels and broad knives to fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound.
  • The candidate will be responsible for measuring, cutting, fitting, and installing drywall sheets.
  • The candidate must position and secure sheets to metal or wood studs or joists.
  • The candidate must smooth out excess compound and allow the coat to dry.
  • The candidate must use a taping machine to tape over joints and embed tape into the compound.

  • The candidate should be fluent in English language.
  • The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related industry.
