Job Description
- The candidate must apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints.
- The candidate must clean and prepare surfaces.
- The candidate will be responsible for cutting and installing metal corner beads to protect the exterior corners.
- The candidate will be responsible for fabricating and installing suspended metal ceiling grids, as well as placing panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings.
- The candidate must use trowels and broad knives to fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound.
- The candidate will be responsible for measuring, cutting, fitting, and installing drywall sheets.
- The candidate must position and secure sheets to metal or wood studs or joists.
- The candidate must smooth out excess compound and allow the coat to dry.
- The candidate must tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in the compound.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in the English language.
- The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 2 to 3 years of experience in a related industry.
