Job Description
- The candidate must plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, global positioning systems (GPS) equipment, or other navigation devices, to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
- The candidate must have mountain driving experience.
- The candidate must load and unload goods.
- The candidate must operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.

- The candidate must have experience operating tractor-trailers and tractor-trailer B trains.
Communication systems experience
- The candidate must have experience using citizens band (CB) radios, operating GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment, and using a trip recorder (on-board computer).

- The candidate must have transportation and travel experience at the provincial/territorial levels.
