Job Description

  • The candidate must examine patients’ teeth, gums, and surrounding tissue.
  • The candidate must diagnose disease, injury, and decay, as well as plan appropriate treatment.
  • The candidate must restore, extract, and replace diseased and decayed teeth.
  • The candidate will be required to perform oral surgery, periodontal surgery, and other treatments.
  • The candidate will be expected to supervise employees.
  • The candidate will be expected to clean teeth and educate patients on proper oral hygiene.
  • The candidate must design bridgework, fit dentures, and provide appliances.
  • The candidate must write fabrication instructions or prescriptions for denturists and dental technicians to use.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in English language.
  • The candidate must have a degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related industry.
  • The candidate must be able to supervise 3 to 4 people.
  • The candidate must be licenced by provincial or territorial authorities and certified by the National Dental Examining Board of Canada.
  • The candidate should have effective interpersonal skills.

  • The candidate must work in private practice.

  • The candidate must be knowledgeable in Endodontics, Oral Surgery, and Prosthodontics.
