Job Description

The candidate must conduct initial dental assessments.
The candidate must instruct patients regarding oral hygiene.
The candidate must clean and stimulate the gums to prevent gum disease.
The candidate must apply fluoride treatments.
The candidate must remove stains and deposits from teeth.
The candidate must take, develop, and mount X-rays.
The candidate must apply and remove temporary dressings.

Job Requirements

The candidate should be fluent in English.
The candidate must have completed a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma program lasting from 3 months to less than 1 year.
The ideal candidate will have at least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related industry.
The ability to communicate in Arabic is an asset for the candidate.
The candidate must hold a Dental Hygienist’s License from the appropriate provincial or territorial governing body.
The candidate should be accurate.
The candidate should be client-focused.
The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
The candidate must be interpersonally aware.
The candidate should be a good team player.

Work setting

The candidate’s relocation costs should not be covered by the employer; if the company does not provide a relocation package, you may request an advance on your earnings to cover some of your moving expenses.
The candidate must work in a specialty dental practice or a dental practice.
The candidate should be willing to relocate and be ready to move to a new city/different city for a job.
