Job Description
- The main duty is to manage the whole process of business and technology (B&T) initiatives from their planning through to their release.
- The candidate takes part in the execution of projects that are complicated or medium-sized in scope and will work with sprints and releases.
- Evaluates and controls the dependencies, risks, and efforts of the vendors.
- He/She is the communication bridge between the B&T groups.
- Plays a vital role in development and further coaching for the freshers
Responsibilities
- Applies Agile practices to efficiently carry out intricate projects from their very start through to the final release.
- Supports the organization’s aims and objectives to reach the release date by clearing any obstacles and overseeing dependencies.
- Trains and oversees the risk management processes, organizes suppliers and informs about problems.
- Functions as a connector among the different Royal Bank of Canada Teams to facilitate good communication.
- Gives the updates, demonstrations, and retrospectives that cause visibility and agreement.
- Utilizes metrics, retrospectives and coaching to encourage continuous improvement.
Requirements
- At least a 5-year background as Scrum Master and/or Delivery Manager, focused on Agile Practices.
- At least a 5-year background in Software Development, Project Management.
- Fast learner, who can influence without being in charge, while still being goal-oriented.
- Outstanding talking, leading, and working together skills.
- Deep knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, Figma, and equivalent Tools.
- Higher education or its equivalent + Advanced Scrum/PMP Certification.
- Having experience in Agile Techniques, AWS and/or programming would be an advantage.
