Job Description
- A customer-facing sales position that concentrates on developing Amazon Business in public sector organisations.
- Amazon’s Global Business (B2B) Unit is part of a rapidly developing global business, with a strong focus on technology and B2B Retail.
- We aim for a consultative and solution-oriented approach in how we engage with our enterprise customers.
- We work with our customers, alongside several different teams, to guarantee that they have the best experience possible and that they are able to adopt the Amazon Business solution successfully.
- The position allows for exposure to large-scale digital procurement and supply chain transformation projects.

Responsibilities
- Manage an area of current and new Enterprise Customers by helping them solve their unique procurement problems through a consultative selling method.
- Promote and Increase usage of Amazon Business by sharing best practices on how to Use Amazon Business effectively.
- Collaborate with Solution Consulting, Professional Services, Product Marketing and other stakeholders in order to ensure customer success.
- Conduct prospecting & lead generation efforts in Public Sector agencies with top-tier Finance & Procurement Executive-level contacts.
- Communicate marketplace opportunities & customer feedback to Product, Technical and Category Management groups within Amazon.
- Partner with Sales Leadership to keep them informed of closed & near-closed opportunities as well as share insights from implementations & customers’ journeys.
- Network & Build Relationships with executives at potential customers.
Requirements
- 5+ years B2B or Enterprise Sales background with proven success growing New Businesses and New Technologies, etc.
- Ability to Sell to Multiple Stakeholders including Top Executives.
- Experience selling Technology-based solutions or solutions with an Innovative Methodology.
- Knowledge of sourcing to pay processes and solutions is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience.
