Job Description
- The candidate must operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products.
- The candidate must maintain professionalism in customer service.
- The candidate must keep a record of items received and delivered.
- The candidate must prepare, package, and replenish goods.
- The candidate must load and unload goods.
- The candidate must record all trip-related information, including mileage, fuel expenses, and any issues.
- The candidate must perform labouring duties in warehouses.
- The candidate must operate a forklift.
- The candidate must inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents.
- The candidate must organize the warehouse and work areas.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in the English language.
- The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation or equivalent experience.
- A candidate with experience is an asset.
- The candidate must have an Air Brakes Endorsement Certification, Forklift Operator Certification, and a Driver’s License (Class 3 or D).
- The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
- The candidate should be reliable.
Work setting
- The candidate should work in a warehouse, which can be a noisy, busy place to work, with hundreds of warehouse operatives, pickers, and packers, working alongside many forklift truck drivers who are moving pallets between shelves.
Experience and specialization
Type of trucking and equipment
- The candidate must have experience in operating straight trucks (4,600 kg+ or 10,000 lbs+ with three or more axles).
Transportation/travel experience
- The candidate must have travel experience at the local and provincial/territorial levels.

- The candidate must have steel-toed safety boots.
