Job Description
- The candidate must assess children’s development to prepare a learning plan tailored to their needs.
- The candidate will be responsible for assisting coworkers with housekeeping and cooking duties.
- The candidate must bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers.
- The candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
- The candidate must lead activities such as telling or reading stories, teaching songs, and taking children to local points of interest.
- The candidate will be responsible for assisting early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records.
- The candidate must encourage children to express their creativity through art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity.
- The candidate must guide and assist children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
- The candidate must prepare snacks and set up rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.
- The candidate must observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioural issues and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors.

Job Requirements

- The candidate must have a College/CEGEP education or equivalent experience.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related industry.
- The candidate must have an Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate and a CPR Certificate.
