Job Description

The candidate will be required to use machines to drill holes in stone blocks or slabs in accordance with specifications.
The candidate will be required to use machines to grind and polish the surfaces of stone blocks, slabs, or other stone products to a specific shape or design, as well as to produce a smooth finish.
The candidate will be required to use sandblasting equipment to cut inscriptions or decorative designs in monumental stone.
The candidate will be required to use a stone-dressing lathe to sharpen and dress grindstones that grind logs into pulp.
The candidate will be required to use blade or wire saws to cut stone blocks to specific dimensions.
The candidate will be expected to perform quality control checks on products.
The candidate will be expected to keep track of manufacturing data such as the number, size, and kind of goods produced.

The candidate will be required to set up, adjust, and operate single-function machines to mix, drill, grind, and cut concrete to specifications.

The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
The candidate must be able to work in dusty conditions.
