Job Description 

• Candidates working in this post are appointed to prepare customs entries and follow up with the clearance process on all entries prepared.
• They’re also required to communicate documentation discrepancies to client and supervisors.
• Candidates working in this post are appointed to coordinate freight delivery to designated locations.
• Candidates working in this post are required to resolve finance and accounting reconciliation exchange issues.
• Candidates for this post are required to scan entries into the imaging system meeting allotted and sensitive time requirements.
• They’re also required to prepare reports and analyses using various software packages and databases working at this post. 
• Candidates working at this post are required to follow up on documentation discrepancy issues which requires the ability to troubleshoot and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing with customers and foreign origins.
• Candidates working at this post are required at this post to establish and maintain client relationships.

Job requirement 

• Candidates must have a high school diploma to be eligible for this post. 
• Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years experience working for a Customs Broker to be eligible for this post. 
• Candidates must know customs operations, laws and regulations, and other government departments to be eligible for this post. 
• Candidates must have proficiency in Microsoft Office and a dedicated customs broker license to be eligible for this post. 
• Candidates must be able to accurate and rapid data entry and acquire excellent verbal and written communication skills to be eligible for this post.

Work setting 

• Candidates must have proficiency in English and French language.
