Job Description

  • The candidate must load, unload, and transport construction materials.
  • The candidate must be capable of erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
  • The candidate will be responsible for mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt.
  • The candidate must remove rubble and other debris from construction sites.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in English language.
  • The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related industry.
  • The candidate must be able to lift more than 45 kg (100 lbs).
  • The candidate should be dependable.
  • The candidate must be flexible.
  • The candidate should be reliable.
  • The candidate should be a good team player.
  • The candidate must be hardworking.

Work site environment

  • The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.

  • The candidate must be able to work in dusty and hot conditions.

  • The candidate should work in an urban area with a high population density.

Experience and specialization

Equipment and machinery experience

  • The candidate must have experience using concrete vibrators, reciprocating saws, circular saws, concrete saws, mortar and concrete mixers, jackhammers, air compressors, nail guns, drills, sledgehammers, and hand tools.

Construction specialization

  • The candidate must be skilled in the construction of industrial, commercial, institutional, residential buildings and poured concrete.

  • The employer will provide the candidate with a vehicle.
