Job Description

  • The candidate will be required to tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction such as mixers, compressors and pumps.
  • The candidate will be required to remove rubble and other debris at construction sites using rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows and other equipment.
  • The candidate will be in charge of mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt.
  • The candidate will be in charge of loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials.
  • The candidate will be required to use a rake and shovel to level the earth to fine grade specifications.
  • The candidate will be in charge of erecting and deconstructing concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
  • The candidate will be responsible for directing traffic near construction sites.
  • The candidate will be required to assist heavy equipment operators.
  • The candidate will be required to assist in pipe alignment during pipeline construction.
  • The candidate will be required to assist in demolishing buildings using prying bars and other tools.
  • The candidate will be responsible for assisting framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs.
  • The candidate will be in charge of paving and raking asphalt.
  • The candidate will be required to clean and pile salvaged materials.
  • The candidate will be required to clean up chemical spills and other contaminants.
  • The candidate must be able to read and interpret blueprints.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in English language
  • The candidate should have minimum qualification of Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related industry.
  • The candidate should have effective interpersonal skills.

Own Tools/Equipment

  • The candidate will be required to wear steel-toed safety boots and hard hat.
