Job Description

The candidate will be required to waterproof, damp proof, and restore surfaces.
The candidate will be required to repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures.
The candidate will be required to operate power vibrators to compact concrete.
The candidate will be required to level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specifications.
The candidate will be required to install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures.
The candidate will be required to fill hollows and remove spots from freshly poured cement.
The candidate will be required to apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces.
The candidate will be required to inspect formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials, as well as direct the placement of concrete into forms or onto graded surfaces.
The candidate must apply the desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.

Job Requirements

The candidate should be fluent in English language.
The candidate should have minimum qualification of Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
The candidate must have Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
The candidate should be organised and flexible in nature.
The candidate should be a good team player with enough interpersonal and judge-mental skills.
The candidate should be client focused.
The candidate should be accurate.

Work Setting

The candidate will be required to work in Residential, Industrial, and Commercial settings.

Own Tools/Equipment

The candidate will be required to wear steel-toed safety boots.

Work Site Environment

The candidate should be willing to work in an outdoor environment for long hours, including tolerance for pests and thorns.
The candidate will be required to work in Wet or Damp and Dusty weather conditions.

The candidate should be required to handle heavy loads as part of routine work.
The candidate should be prepared for doing physically challenging tasks as part of daily work.
