Job Description
- The compensation strategies and programs offered by Air Canada are defined and supported here.
- This is a full-time position intended to provide support for competitive reward systems for employees.
- The position works with leaders of business units to establish compensation policies that are aligned with the goals and objectives of Air Canada.
- Compensation processes are administered through cooperation and collaboration with other Human Resources and Payroll teams.
- Supports the market analysis, job evaluation and pay review functions of Air Canada.
- Assists in creating a diverse, inclusive and rewarding workplace culture.
Responsibilities
- Work with management to create and launch progressive compensation systems that support the strategic and technical requirements of their firms.
- Sustain the salary structures under observation and make sure that the compensation system of the organization complies with the market trends .
- Give advice and communicate with HR Departments, Talent Acquisition, and organizational management
about the decisions made in compensation. - Control the process of compensation reviews, job evaluations, and market surveys .
- Provide the necessary information to the company and support its requirements.
- Cultivate the relationships with the partners within the company and the external organizations,which includes conducting salary surveys and benchmarking.
- Facilitate compliance with executive compensation practices, Corporate Governance, and disclosure of related information.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of hands-on experience regarding both compensation and executive compensation Knowledge and understanding of pay structures and Incentive programs.
- The ability to successfully develop positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels through the exercise of sound judgment, tact, and discretion .
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with experience providing clearly documented business processes .
- Ability to deal with delicate information regarding employees and top executives was proven with high confidentiality and integrity.
- Mastered analytical skills, which included the capability of using spreadsheets and databases for the analysis of compensation-related information.
- Highly self-directed and organized; Strong planning capabilities, the ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities in a strong and fast-paced environment.
- A degree in the related field and/or Human Resources specialization; Professional compensation certification would be considered strong assets.
