Job Description

  • The candidate will be responsible for driving strategic execution of inventory flow through the establishment and adjustment of inventory parameters to support replenishment and allocation activities.
  • The candidate must utilize systems and analytical tools to improve inventory investment decisions across retail, distribution, and e-commerce operations.
  • The candidate must evaluate historical performance and market trends to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and support financial objectives.
  • The candidate will be responsible for executing planning, reporting, and analysis activities under the direction of a manager or planner.
  • The candidate will execute detailed analysis to support and improve category performance.
  • The candidate will develop sales projections and inventory flow plans for key items.
  • The candidate will be responsible for recommending seasonal merchandise flow strategies that maximize sales performance and enhance the guest experience.
  • The candidate will drive financial results that maximize sales, inventory performance, and bottom-line profitability.
  • The candidate will prepare for and participate in Merchandise Review meetings.
  • The candidate will provide support to Merchandising teams to actively manage product assortments throughout the season, including inventory and markdown activities.
  • The candidate will demonstrate initiative by identifying opportunities beyond day-to-day operations to maximize sales potential.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate must possess a college certificate or university degree.
  • The candidate must have 1-3 years of merchandise planning experience.
  • The candidate must have previous experience working with merchandise and planning systems.
  • The candidate must possess expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • The candidate must demonstrate the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • The candidate must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • The candidate must be extremely organized, thorough, and capable of prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • The candidate must be detail-oriented in all assigned duties and responsibilities.
  • The candidate must demonstrate the ability to understand merchandise vision and translate it into viable planning strategies.
  • The candidate must be results-oriented with a strong sense of motivation.
