Job Description
- Applicants working at this post are required to participate as active members of the Nunavut Field Unit management team.
- They’re also required to manage financial and human resources, including supervising a team of six staff members who applied for this post.
- Candidates required for this post are appointed to meet with park management committees and Inuit Knowledge working groups to share information and seek advice working at this post.
- Applicants are also required to plan and deliver excellent visitor experience opportunities, and administer business licensing/permitting programs working at this post.
- Candidates are also required to oversee the development of community events, training opportunities, workshops, and school programs working at this post.
Job requirement
- Candidates must attain a secondary school diploma OR an acceptable combination of education, training, and experience related to the position to be eligible for this post.
- They must have prior experience in dealing with stakeholders, industry, and local communities to be preferred for this post.
- They must attain dedicated experience in the management of human and financial resources to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must attain prior experience in preparing a variety of professional communications products such as memos to staff, briefing notes, presentations, or written reports to be eligible for this post.
- Applicants must attain the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing to be eligible for this post.
Work setting
- They must attain the ability to build relationships and represent the organization in a variety of forums to get preferred for this post.
