The Client Advisor is a customer-oriented position with Royal Bank of Canada. This position offers service by acting as an ambassador for the branch. Job Description

  • The role helps clients with their daily banking needs and provides direction to the appropriate Royal Bank of Canada products or services.
  • The Client Advisor engages with clients inside the branch by processing transactions and providing basic financial advice.
  • Client Advisor helps to create a friendly, collaborative environment within the branch to promote client service.
  • The hours will be set according to the branch’s operating hours and are based on the number of hours each week that are scheduled to be worked.
  • The Client Advisor helps to achieve branch goals by assisting in developing stronger relationships with the client and identifying ways to connect the client with Royal Bank of Canada services.

Responsibilities

  • Meets with clients within the branch and throughout the community to determine their banking needs and provide recommendations.
  • Provides educational information and technology demonstrations for positive client experience and to help generate sales.
  • Assists clients with requests and conducts various types of financial transactions initiated by clients.
  • Listens attentively to clients to gain an understanding of individual goals and financial situations.
  • Assumes responsibility for resolving and preventing issues related to clients’ banking needs.
  • Develops relationships with partners within the organization to provide referrals and create new business opportunities.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated commitment to the concept of putting clients first and capability in achieving sales goals.
  • Excellent reasoning and communication capabilities for establishing and nurturing ties.
  • Flexible, quick learner, possessing good morals, and driven to win.
  • Proficient in using different types of electronic gadgets and software.
  • Open to working during all of the company’s operating hours.
  • Background in establishing robust client relationships in the finance or service sectors.
  • IFIC, CSC certificates .
