Job Description

  • The candidate will be required to greet customers and discuss type, quality and quantity of merchandise or services sought for purchase, rental or lease
  • The candidate must prepare merchandise for purchase, rental, or lease.
  • The candidate will be expected to help with merchandise display.
  • The candidate will be required to operate cash register and bagging groceries
  • The candidate will be expected to go above and beyond for our customers and fellow team members.
  • The candidate must be able to share product knowledge with customers.
  • The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the department is well-stocked and well-presented.
  • The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that only the most recent products are displayed.
  • The candidate will be responsible for handling customer service inquiries and providing a positive customer experience.
  • The candidate will be expected to clean equipment and work areas in order to maintain a safe and sanitary working environment.
  • The candidate will be expected to use a variety of tools, including knives.
  • The candidate would be responsible for unpacking products received by store and count, weigh or sort items
  • The candidate will be required to follows written and verbal instructions from managers.
  • The candidate would be responsible for stocking and replacing products to avoid any damages.
  • The candidate would be responsible for processing customer orders and payments.
  • The candidate would be responsible for handling timely product deliveries.
  • The candidate will be required to discard expired items and place near expiry items on special promotions.
  • The candidate must adhere to all food safety and sanitation procedures established by the company and other regulatory agencies.
  • The candidate would be responsible for reporting suspicious activities in the store to appropriate authorities
  • The candidate must maintain a neat appearance in accordance with the company’s dress code policy.
  • The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all displays, products, and services meet company standards.
  • The candidate will be expected to keep shelves stocked in accordance with filling, organising, pricing, and tagging products.
  • The candidate will be responsible for receiving meat product deliveries from suppliers and storing them safely until they can be processed or shipped out to customers.
  • The candidate would be responsible for removing produce that shows signs of spoilage.
  • The candidate would be responsible for handling large volumes of customers in cheerful and friendly manner.
  • The candidate will be required to identify and dispose all produce, which is no longer suitable for sale.

  • The candidate should be fluent in English language
  • The candidate should have minimum qualification of Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience is not mandatory.
  • The candidate should be able to handle weight up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
