Job DescriptionÂ
- Candidates working in this post are required to provide a superior and supportive learning experience to students enrolled in either an eight-month certificate program in Culinary Skills or a two-year Diploma in Culinary Management.
Job requirementÂ
- They must have completed provincial red seal designation for Cook and/or Culinary postsecondary credentials from an accredited public institution to be eligible for this post.
- They must acquire at least 5 years of progressive culinary employment experience in a variety of industrial contexts to be preferred for this post.
- They must have a collegial collaborative approach to team membership and leadership to be eligible for this post.
- Applicants must have excellent communication, organizational, problem solving and analytical skills.
- They must have prior evidence of commitment to student success and/or coaching others to high standards to be eligible for this post.
- Applicants must attain prior networking skills with a variety of stakeholders within the field of expertise to be preferred for this post.
- Applicants must have a working knowledge of relevant digital applications to be eligible for this post.
Work settingÂ
- Candidates must acquire prior post-secondary teaching and collaborative curriculum development experience.
They must acquire ongoing studies or certifications within Education or Adult Education. - Applicants must acquire additional professional specialized certifications or qualifications in Culinary or Hospitality Management to be preferred for this post.
- They must attain prior industry accolades, honours and accomplishments of professional significance to be eligible for this post.
