Job Description
- The candidate will be responsible for reviewing security clearance forms to ensure accuracy, completeness, and full disclosure.
- The candidate will be responsible for conducting investigations and comprehensive interviews, assessing and ruling out areas of concern, and compiling and analyzing information related to security clearances for employees, volunteers, and contractors.
- The candidate will be responsible for identifying risks related to misconduct, criminality, corruption, or criminal affiliation.
- The candidate will be responsible for preparing correspondence and detailed reports summarizing findings and analysis.
- The candidate will be responsible for working within established security policies for handling and releasing information and maintaining records.
- The candidate will be responsible for researching files and information using RCMP databases and other systems.
- The candidate will be responsible for communicating effectively both orally and in writing to conduct interviews and prepare reports.
Job Requirements
- The candidate must have graduated from a recognized Canadian police training institution.
- The candidate must possess excellent communication skills.
- The candidate must demonstrate strong computer literacy to perform job-related tasks effectively.
- The candidate must demonstrate a commitment to service excellence in all aspects of work.
- The candidate will be required to work effectively as part of a team.
- The candidate must demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.
- The candidate must hold a valid BC Class 5 Driverโs License.
