Job Description
- The candidate must be able to operate a cash register.
- The candidate must process money, cheques, and credit/debit card payments.
- The candidate must scan items.
- The candidate must compute the total payment for the goods or services required.
- The candidate must accept payment for goods or services.
- The candidate will be responsible for calculating daily/shift payments received and reconciling with total sales.
- The candidate will be responsible for suggestive selling.
- The candidate must greet customers.
- The candidate must accept reservations or take-out orders.
- The candidate must provide excellent customer service.
- The candidate will be responsible for assisting customers with self-checkout.
- The candidate will be responsible for monitoring all entrances and exits and requesting proof of payment as necessary.
- The candidate must participate in promotional activities.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in English language.
- The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation or equivalent experience.
- Candidate having experience is an asset.
- The candidate should be accurate.
- The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
- The candidate must be flexible.

Work setting
- The candidate’s relocation costs should be covered by the employer, allowing the employer to contribute to the employee’s relocation costs incurred in moving closer to the company’s offices or other work locations as required.
- The candidate should be willing to relocate whether the candidate would be ready to move into a new city/different city for a job.
- The candidate should work in a retail business, purchase goods from a manufacturer or a wholesaler and sell these goods to consumers in small quantities.
