Job Description
- The candidate will be required to operate machinery to process and bag, box or otherwise package food products.
- The candidate will be responsible for informing supervisor of mechanical malfunctions or product irregularities
- The candidate will be required to clean machines and work areas immediately
- The candidate will be required to keep track of production data.
- The candidate will be required to mix cooks candy ingredients by following, modifying, or formulating recipes in order to produce a product with the desired flavour, texture, and colour.
- The candidate will be required to cook ingredients at specified temperatures in open-fire or steam-jacketed kettles or in batch or continuous pressure cookers.
- The candidate will be expected to examine, feel, and taste the product in order to assess colour, texture, and flavour
- As needed, the candidate will be required to add ingredients or modify cooking forming operations.
