Job Description
- A specialist position that concentrated on providing personalized planning insight to HNW and UHNW business owner clients in Royal Bank of Canada Family Office services.
- Working together with advisors and tax, estate, and business succession experts so as to deal with complex client needs.

Responsibilities
- Carry out an exhaustive investigation into the client family, business, financials, trusts, and legal contracts.
- Check the present situation against short- and long-term goals and create a plan for wealth & legacy solutions that is strategic.
- Planning advice will be given that is objective and will connect the gaps, risks, and enterprise solutions with the client’s Royal Bank of Canada advisor.
- Business-owner planning makes sure that tax, succession, estate, and philanthropic planning are all delivered effectively.
- Join forces with Royal Bank of Canada’s experts and external advisors whose services are trusted (accountants, lawyers, M&A, insurance, etc.).
- Create and continue the referral networks of centers-of-influence (COIs).
- Make and distribute personalized memos or give presentations that consolidate strategies for clients and their external advisors.
Requirements
- University degree plus CPA, LL.B/JD, or CBV (or equivalent) and 12+ years of related experience.
- Very good technical knowledge of Canadian private corporate tax, estate, and business succession planning.
- Recipient of private wealth management strategies, trends, and issues.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and client-facing skills; simple and practical explanation of complicated planning.
- Bilingual; English and French.
- CPA Canada In-Depth Tax (or equivalent); FEA / FFI GEN certificates in family advising.
- Experience in US cross-border planning.
