Job Description
- As a Business Advisor, this will help small business clients get the right financial advice while managing a personal portfolio of moderate to complex business relationships.
- Manage a portfolio of small business clients with a high-value and/or complex profile for renewal and retention with the focus on growth.
- Build a solid position locally within the business community through the development of Centers of Influence relationships.
- Begin proactive engagement of new and existing clients, utilizing your personal brand to improve their financial position and champion solutions to achieve their financial goals.
- Advise and partner with business owners to develop a long-lasting, sustainable success – and provide broader advice and support.
- Partner and work with other advisors to help keep the clients the priority.
Responsibilities
- Manage a wide range of small business clients with complexity and/or value to meet performance and retention goals.
- Develop awareness in the local small business community through Centres of Influence relationships.
- Reach out to new and existing clients with appropriate financial advice and business solutions based on their business needs.
Requirements
- Solid proficiency in financial statements, products, and the small business sector.
- Knowledge of risk management policy and the legal and security documents that apply to business products.
- Education in a business-related discipline or equivalent experience as a small business owner.
- A valid driver’s license and access to an operational vehicle.
