Job Description

The candidate must sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs.
The candidate must be able to use industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other waste.
The candidate must empty trash cans and other waste containers.
The candidate will be responsible for making minor adjustments and repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, as well as contacting tradespersons for significant repairs.
The candidate must contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment.
The candidate must perform minor repairs on appliances.
The candidate must supervise other workers.
The candidate must clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures.
The candidate must work with minimal supervision.

Job Requirements

The candidate should be fluent in the English language.
The candidate must hold a certificate of secondary (high) school graduation or possess equivalent experience.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 to 3 years of experience in a related industry.
The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
The candidate should be dependable.
The candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
The candidate should be organized and flexible.
The candidate must be capable of acting independently and taking the initiative.
The candidate should be reliable.
