Job Description

  • The candidate will be required to contact clients via outbound calls regarding outstanding payments on credit cards and personal and business accounts.
  • The candidate will be required to educate and provide advice on credit solutions and negotiate tailored payment arrangements for overdue accounts to meet clients’ financial obligations.
  • The candidate will be required to focus on helping clients when they need support most by responding empathetically and offering solutions based on their financial situation.
  • The candidate will be responsible for resolving problems at the first point of contact in a friendly and helpful manner while maintaining relationships with partners to work as one RBC.
  • The candidate will be required to contribute to team results by supporting colleagues in meeting client needs.
  • The candidate will be responsible for managing risks by adhering to compliance routines, processes, and controls to protect client and shareholder interests.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate must possess proven skills in interpersonal communication and problem resolution.
  • The candidate must have the ability to build rapport while offering the right solutions for clients and mitigating risk.
  • The candidate must demonstrate a desire to build exceptional client experiences and show passion and curiosity in helping clients meet their needs and resolve concerns.
  • The candidate will be required to communicate fluently in both English and French.
  • The candidate must have flexibility to work various shifts that meet client needs, Monday to Friday 8AM–11PM EST and Saturday 8AM–7PM EST.
  • The candidate must have past experience in a customer service role where they provided a variety of needs-based solutions.
  • The candidate must have strong negotiation skills.
  • The candidate must have experience working in a team and metrics-based performance environment.
  • The candidate must have previous experience working in a Contact/Call Centre and in a fast-paced financial and/or service industry.
  • The candidate must be fluent in Cantonese and/or Mandarin to serve clients in the community with those language needs.
