Job Description

• The candidate must support accurate and timely shipments by providing real-time coaching, feedback, training, and support to Warehouse Associates and Forklift Drivers.
• The candidate must provide task-based training and support, remove operational bottlenecks, deliver functional training to new Associates, and provide refresher training to existing employees as needed.
• The candidate will be responsible for training and developing department-specific skills among Associates on the team and identifying the need for specialized learning approaches, including linguistic support, to promote an inclusive environment.
• The candidate will be responsible for assessing learner skill levels and delivering the necessary training and information to improve daily job performance.
• The candidate will be responsible for supporting Supervisors with daily workforce planning and clearly communicating updates, operational needs, and risks across departments.
• The candidate will be responsible for providing individualized feedback to Associates to directly improve their daily job performance.
• The candidate will be responsible for directing all department opening and closing tasks to ensure daily operations run smoothly.
• The candidate will be responsible for tracking individual employee performance and ensuring team members use required systems accurately and correctly.
• The candidate will be responsible for resolving daily system issues and providing support for Outlook, Excel, IBM, WMS, and Oracle usage.
• The candidate will be responsible for training new learners on department-specific systems and demonstrating strong technical knowledge across required platforms.
• The candidate will be responsible for identifying daily workflow priorities and partnering with Supervisors to determine staffing and resource requirements.
• The candidate will be responsible for identifying staffing needs and support capacity requirements to maintain overall Distribution Center workflow.
• The candidate will be responsible for understanding material and support resource requirements and tracking weekly operational volumes.
• The candidate will be responsible for understanding DC department workflows and identifying operational bottlenecks and challenges.
• The candidate will be responsible for resolving daily operational issues between departments as they occur.
• The candidate will be responsible for supporting a strong safety culture within the DC and educating Associates on safety procedures and their importance.
• The candidate will be responsible for monitoring department supplies and ensuring items are restocked as needed.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must have 1-2 years of experience leading team members either directly or through indirect leadership responsibilities.
• The candidate must have at least 1 year of experience facilitating sessions and delivering training to employees.
• The candidate must have a strong understanding of essential warehouse functions and standard operating processes.
• The candidate must demonstrate proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications.
• The candidate must communicate effectively with team members and business partners through both written and verbal communication.
• The candidate must be able to adapt to third-party technologies, including RF scanners, voice picking systems, and new operational tools.
• The candidate must demonstrate excellent counting skills and strong attention to detail.
• The candidate must demonstrate the ability to meet attendance requirements for the position.
• The candidate must maintain a safe work environment by following safety procedures and workplace standards.
• The candidate must be able to understand, speak, and read English proficiently enough to follow safety procedures, workplace policies, training materials, and instructions. Candidates with bilingual language skills are encouraged to apply.
