Job Description

  • The candidate will be expected to repair or replace worn or defective parts and components.
  • The candidate will be in charge of transporting tools, equipment, and other materials.
  • The candidate will be in charge of cleaning machines and work areas properly.
  • Review work orders and discuss work with supervisor
  • The candidate will be in charge of providing customer service.
  • The candidate will be responsible for determining the extent of repair required by diagnosing faults or malfunctions using computerised and other testing equipment.
  • The candidate will be in charge of gathering information from customers about electrical system problems.
  • The candidate will be in charge of disassembling electrical units, such as starters and generators, using handtools.
  • The candidate will be in charge of removing and replacing defective parts such as armatures, brushes, and wires.
  • The candidate will be responsible for lifting motors and generators with a mechanical hoist and moving parts around the repair shop with a handtruck.
  • The candidate will be in charge of performing checks and tests to ensure the success of the repair work.
