Job Description

• The candidate will be responsible for analyzing, validating, and inputting slot/style information in the global line plan.
• The candidate must ensure that relevant style attributes are entered and are consistent with the most recent attribute definitions.
• The candidate must analyze, validate, and input slot/style information in the global line plan for non-seasonal style additions (chase, Fast Turn, etc.).
• The candidate must ensure that relevant style attributes are entered and are consistent with the most recent attribute definitions for non-seasonal style additions (chase, Fast Turn, etc.).
• The candidate must analyze, validate, and update the style-colour assortment visual flow based on Colour Flow Milestone.
• The candidate must manage sample ownership, including inventory control, shipping, and organization of samples.
• The candidate must input information into the seasonal change tracker (style-colour assortment).
• The candidate must communicate added and dropped styles back to Product Development/Design.
• The candidate must continuously monitor regional selling results and connect with regional teams to understand global product and financial performance.
• The candidate must support the team with global market and guest insight research.
• The candidate must support the Global Merchant and Senior Merchant on content creation for key go-to-market gates.
• The candidate must provide support to the Merchandising team with day-to-day tasks.

Job Requirements

• The candidate will be required to hold a BA, BSc, BBA, BComm, or equivalent degree.
• The candidate with a specialization in Retail or Merchandising Management will be considered an asset.
• The candidate with retail experience will be preferred.
• The candidate with merchandising experience will be considered a strong asset.
• The candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
• The candidate must have financial acumen and a strong understanding of retail math.
• The candidate must have an acute eye for product.
• The candidate must demonstrate proven ability to build collaborative team relationships.
• The candidate must have strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• The candidate must be able to accurately and efficiently manage data entry.
• The candidate will be required to remain highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• The candidate must be able to multitask and operate in a fast-paced environment.
• The candidate must be willing to travel (domestic and international) and work on the retail floor.
• The candidate must acknowledge the presence of choice in every moment and take personal responsibility for their actions and decisions.
