Job Description
- Candidates are appointed to plan and coordinate the work of the section to maximize the efficiency of labour and material handling equipment.
- Candidates will also have to promote a continuous Improvement workplace by encouraging hourly employees to submit ideas to improve operations.
- They’re appointed to supervise, motivate and train assigned staff.
- They’re also appointed to ensure teamwork and high standards of work quality and organizational performance.
- Candidates are required to promote continuous learning and encourage innovation in others.
Job requirement
- Candidates must attain strong organizational, interpersonal and problem-solving skills along with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Candidates must attain the ability to supervise a unionized workforce.
- Candidates must acknowledge the use of office technology, software and applications.
- Candidates must obtain the ability to manage conflict and plan and organize activities.
Work setting
- Candidates with previous Supervisory experience will be preferred for this post.
