Job Description
- Applicants accountable for this post are required to provide a combination of education and motivation appropriate to the format and participant group working at this post.
- They’re also accountable at this post to supervise and provide feedback, ensuring participants complete safe movements, especially when using equipment applied for this post.
- Candidates accountable at this post to create a variety of aquatic exercise classes that are fun, safe and technically sound to meet the objectives and goals of the program working at this post.
- They’re also accountable at this post to plan and prepare music appropriate for class format and participants’ needs and plan effectively for facility conditions working at this post.
Job requirement
- Candidates must have experience in leading group aquatic exercise classes to be eligible for this post.
- They must have current group aquatic exercise certification by a recognized association including CALA, Aquatic Exercise Association, Water Art, AQX or a program that meets the NFLA standards or equivalent with mandatory continuing education credits to be eligible for this post.
- They must attain emergency First Aid/CPR B Certification along with the light lifting of supplies to be eligible for this post.
Work setting
- Applicants are accountable at this post to plan exercises and modifications that provide a variety of options for comfort and intensity to ensure all participants feel safe and successful working at this post.
- They’re required at this post to work in collaboration with the aquatic and facility team to ensure emergencies are dealt with effectively working at this post.
