Job Description
- Supervising the whole aircraft maintenance operations.
- Coordinating and supervising maintenance activities.

Responsibilities
- Airworthiness and maintenance compliance with Transport Canada and Air Canada standards are the main activities that will be coordinated and supervised.
- The planning, management, and control of the execution of the maintenance of the aircraft are the tasks.
- The resources will be allocated and managed in such a way as to meet both the workload and the corporate schedules.
- The monitoring of the VHF communication of the Air-to-Ground will be done.
- The discussion of delays, incidents, and operational issues will take place at the Station Operations Control Centre (STOC).
- The recording of delays, incidents, accidents, and maintenance messages will be done in the required systems.
- The coordination with Maintenance Operations Control, System Operations Control, Operations Managers, and Hangar Team Leaders will take place regarding incoming snags and aircraft faults.
- The relaying and coordination of messages will be done across the various departments represented by STOC.
- The communication with Flight Operations at departure gates will be carried out to confirm the aircraft’s serviceability.
- The maintenance of clear communication will be done with all ramp maintenance staff.
- The demonstration of punctuality, dependability, and effectiveness in a fast-paced environment will be done.
Requirements
- A valid aircraft maintenance engineer (AME) license or its equivalent.
- The ability to work in a team, facilitative leadership role.
- The willingness to work on rotating shifts.
- A restricted area identity card (RAIC).
An airside vehicle operator’s permit (AVOP). - A valid full driver’s license.
- A strong technical knowledge of maintenance processes, procedures, and relevant IT systems.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to perform under distressful operational conditions.
- Strong organization and independent working skills.
- A solid understanding of line maintenance aircraft check procedures.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the country at the time of the offer.
- Bilingual candidates preferred based on equal qualifications.
