Job Description

• The candidate will be required to assist in the conduct of field research and surveys in order to collect data and samples.
• The candidate must evaluate programmes.

Job Requirements

• The candidate should be fluent in English language.
• The candidate must have a College/CEGEP diploma.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate should be accurate.
• The candidate should have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate should have good judgemental skills.

Work site environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
• The candidate must be able to work in wet/damp and dusty conditions.
• The candidate must work in an environment with a high concentration of odours.

Work setting

• The candidate must be willing to work in a rural area.
• The candidate will be required to work in various locations.
• The candidate must be willing to relocate to the specified location.
• Farm operations include dairy and farm operations.

Experience and specialization

Technical experience

• The ideal candidate will have prior experience with livestock production programmes.

Area of work experience

• The candidate must have appraisal experience.

Area of specialization

• The candidate must be knowledgeable about agriculture, dairy cattle, and cattle breeding.
