Job Description

  • As the ACH Operations Implementation Lead, you will help clients navigate the onboarding process and integrate with Royal Bank of Canada’s payment platforms.
  • You will be a full-time team member (~37.5 hours/week) of a collaborative payments operations team.
  • Your goal is to support client implementations by partnering internally and with the client’s technical team to ensure a seamless implementation process.
  • ACH operation responsibilities include monitoring ACH transaction limits and resolving any payment-related inquiries.
  • You are responsible for providing technical walkthroughs, conducting testing, and assisting with configuration of Royal Bank of Canada’s digital payment tools.

Responsibilities

  • Keep an eye on ACH exposure limits and work with Credit Risk teams whenever it is necessary.
  • Take care of ACH investigations that include authorizations, recalls, reversals, and trace requests.
  • Give help to clients in resolving problems and working out with product and account teams built-in solutions.
  • Supervise daily technical implementation activities which comprise configuration, troubleshooting, and client training.
  • Show customers technical ways to use Royal Bank of Canada Clear tools, such as portal setup, H2H connections, and file formats.
  • Direct client integration projects by preparing project plans and leading them to finish.
  • Act as the primary technical person for discussions about onboarding and assist the client in testing the host-to-host channels.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5-7 years worked in an ACH Operations position.
  • A direct involvement in the product development and installation for Cash Management/Treasury .
  • The experience of being engaged in the processing of account statement formats (MT/CAMT/BAI2) over SWIFT as well as through host to host delivery channels.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of cash management products, including ACH, RTP, and Checks.
  • Excellent skills in technical document reading and clientโ€™s technical teams communication.
  • Knowledge of the Nacha rules and regulations is a plus.
  • Accreditation as an Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) is preferred but not compulsory.
