Job description:

• Will be required to operate manual welding equipments.
• Will be required to operate semi-automatic welding equipments.
• Will be required to operate fully automated welding equipment.
• Will be required to interpret welding process specifications.
• Will be required to operate oxygen arc cutting equipment (arc-air)(AOC).
• Will be required to operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
• Will be required to examine welds.
• Will be  required to ensure that welds meet standards and/or specifications.
• Will be required to handle weight up to 45kgs(100lbs).
• Will be required to work in noisy and dusty environment.
• Will be required to work at heights.
• Will be required to work in manufacturer work setting.
• Will be required to work in industrial work settings.
• Will be required to work in commercial work settings.
• Will be required to work with steel.
• Will be required to  work with iron.
• Will be required to work with heavy metals.

Requirements:

• Should have equipment and machinery handling experience that of Gas welding machine
• Should have equipment and machinery handling experience that of arc welding machine.
• Should have five or more year of experience.
• Should know English.
• Should have Welder Trade Red Seal Certification.
• Should have a second period apprentice.
• Should have other trades certificate or diploma or equivalent experience.
• Should have specialization on custom fabrication and factory assembly.
• Should have specialization on auto repair and truck repair.
• Should have specialization on frame straightening and structural construction.
• Should have specialization on machinery and equipment repair.
• Should have knowledge of welding techniques like resistance and spot or seam.
• Should have knowledge of welding techniques like Oxy-acetylene welding (OAW).
• Should have knowledge of welding techniques like Flux core arc welding (FCAW).
• Should have knowledge of welding techniques like Gas metal arc welding (GMAW).
• Should have a criminal record check.
• Should have a valid driver’s licence.
• Should be able to handle heavy loads.
• Should be able to stand for extended periods.
• This job will be physically demanding and will have to do repetitive tasks.
• Should have eye-hand coordination.
• Should be manually dexterous.
• Should be very well organized.
• References attesting experience must be included while submitting the application.
