Job requirement
- Candidates must have completed a High school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience in a field related to the position.
- They must attain the ability to communicate clearly and effectively orally to be eligible for this post.
- They must attain the ability to work as part of a team and be able to intervene manage emergencies and provide first aid.
- Candidates must attain dedicated experience working in the outdoors, map, GPS and compass orientation.
- Candidates must attain experience in the safe use of various means of transportation.
- They must hold a valid certificate for the use of chainsaws and brush cutters to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must acquire a dedicated General Wilderness First Aid with CPR certification to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must possess a valid class 5 driver’s license to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must acquire a dedicated General First Aid with CPR certification to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must get a dedicated Pleasure Craft Operator’s certification and be willing to work irregular hours and overtime to be eligible for this post.
