Job Description
- The candidate will be responsible for handling, restraining, and caring for animals undergoing treatment and surgery.
- The candidate will be responsible for assisting the veterinarian before, during, and after surgery.
- The candidate must prepare and administer medications and vaccines under the supervision of a veterinarian.
- The candidate must administer treatments as prescribed by the veterinarian.
- The candidate must identify livestock.
- The candidate will be responsible for advising clients on animal health care.
- The candidate must conduct and assist in laboratory research.
- The candidate will be required to perform a variety of office management and clerical tasks.
- The candidate will be responsible for performing routine animal dental procedures and assisting veterinarians with animal dentistry.
- The candidate will be responsible for providing nursing care and rehabilitation therapy to animals.
- The candidate must provide wound and bandage care.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in English language.
- The candidate must have a College/CEGEP diploma.
- Candidate having experience is an asset.
- The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
- The candidate must be flexible.
