Job Description

Candidates working at this post are required to perform stacking activities and prepare design packages for new connections, service upgrades, extensions, betterments and relocations.
They’re also appointed at this post to prepare and process billing authorization and permits working at this post.
Candidates for this post are required to arrange and perform audits of the five-year check of joint-use facilities and process any resulting changes as directed by Network Management.
Candidates must process and maintain all area joint-use records working at this post.
Candidates for this post are required to assign work and provide advice, guidance and training to the subordinates when required.
They’re also appointed at this post to monitor staff and work program compliance with Distribution System Code requirements and report discrepancies to the FLM for action.
Candidates for this post are appointed to monitor daily field reports and input exceptions indicated by crews.
Candidates for this post are required to compare work accomplishments and costs of WO and programs with estimates.
They’re also appointed at this post to supervise, monitor areas and coordinate the work performance of assigned staff relating to work quality, safety and quantity.

Job requirement

Candidates must require knowledge of accounting to prepare inventories and pricing for the sale or purchase of distribution facilities to be eligible for this post.
They must know electrical and electronic theory related to telecommunications, control and metering equipment and circuitry to be eligible for this post.
They must require a knowledge of drafting and distribution line diagrams to be eligible for this post.
Candidates must have experience to be familiar with computer information systems for estimating, bills of material, scheduling, Customer Information systems and feedback systems.
They must require experience with applicable safety practices and procedures to be eligible for this post.
