Job Description

  • The candidate will be responsible for drafting quarterly and annual earnings scripts, Q&A materials, and investor presentations.
  • The candidate will engage directly with sell-side analysts and investor communities after earnings releases.
  • The candidate will manage ongoing relationships with selected analysts, including financial model review and narrative clarification.
  • The candidate will support engagement with activist investors by preparing materials, analysis, and key messaging.
  • The candidate will partner directly with members of the SLT, Legal, FP&A, Finance, Corporate Communications, and Corporate Development teams to shape the company’s narrative to Wall Street.
  • The candidate will monitor investor sentiment, analyst reports, and market trends to identify reputational and communication risks.
  • The candidate will prepare Board-level materials related to investor relations strategy and shareholder feedback.
  • The candidate will act as a liaison between Wall Street and the company’s senior leadership team.
  • The candidate will work closely with senior management to develop messaging on financial performance, prepare for earnings calls, and analyze peer performance.
  • The candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for analysts and investors who follow or invest in the company’s stock.
  • The candidate will maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders including analysts and investors.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • The candidate with an MBA, CPA, CFA, or similar capital markets designation will be considered an asset.
  • The candidate must have 8–12+ years of progressive experience in Investor Relations, Equity Research, Corporate Finance, or a related capital markets role within a public company environment.
  • The candidate must have a deep understanding of earnings processes, analyst models, valuation methodologies, and capital markets dynamics.
  • The candidate must demonstrate the ability to exercise independent judgment in high-pressure, externally visible environments.
  • The candidate must possess strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience translating complex financial information for external audiences.
  • The candidate must have experience partnering closely with Legal and senior leadership on sensitive disclosures and investor communications.
  • The candidate is required to demonstrate personal accountability and awareness in all aspects of work and decision-making.
  • The candidate must demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset and a commitment to continuous innovation to achieve strong results.
